  • I believe that republicans goad us into making fun of them by doing insanely stupid shit, "I don't care do you"...miss-spellings, saying bat shit crazy shit...All of it......even the bat shit crazy Qanon shit, all designed specifically to divide. This guy touches on that. It's not violence, but is us making fun of them constantly,. is exactly what they want, it has the same effect as "killing the insurgents"....It creates more of them... "The victims"....... It's a phycological op, that we will absolutely fall for, every single time. Their intentions are very clear now. They tried to overturn the election legislatively, as well as violently. They know that they don't need a majority, that's why they don't care. They have plans. Russia or other foreign countries may even play a roll IMO. Think he's not talking to Putin??.....

    Michael TreesMichael Trees6 dagen geleden
    • I am aware that it's hard to wrap your head around that they could actually be that tactical, it really seems like Russian ops to me. They know exactly what they're doing. It will work. All they have to do, is get us to poke fun, and point out how stupid they are...I would be ware, this is not going to end well. I promise. It's clear now, they're still at it, even after Jan 6th....I would prepare for violence.

They could’ve had 4 years or bernie instead of trump... which for most of these disenfranchised folks would’ve been better and almost certainly have kept them out of these conspiracy believing groups, but here we are... Bernie had a lot of similar policies (economic/america first/ illegal immigration) to trump, but they were worded in a more sane way! even bernie said so on fox news and even trump said so... and those voters liked bernie for those reasons and then switched to trump instead of corporate loving hillary

  • 3:40 I suppose it's culturally ingrained in the US that it's perfectly normal to disenfranchise convicted criminals, apparently in some states even after having served their sentences. But it's worth recalling that most democracies do in fact allow inmates to vote. That includes your neighbours up North by the way, where there is no qualification at all on the right for citizens to vote. That's not to say that the US should necessarily adopt that approach of course, but to act like it's some insane idea only shows that this panelist suffers from tunnel vision on this particular issue.

That means that Biden has to ENGAGE, ENGAGE, ENGAGE & put himself into RED States & talk to people. And, yeah, maybe he gets a lot of Hell from the 'Reds'...but that's his strength. He is good with 'The People' & if he just gets out there & they see that he's not blowing them off & trying to get something from them, like trump, Biden can gradually build trust among the trump Base. He can turn them, but it will take time & a lot of effort ON HIS PART. But he can't do it if he just stays in D.C. & 'acts presidential' & is a 'competent leader'. He's gotta Engage. I know that Joe knows what to do. He just has to do it.

  • (3:38) - Please, what is wrong with allowing prisoners suffrage? After all, they are "serving their time" Why should those who are serving their time be denied to have a say in who governs them ? In some cases, directly ? Specifically, *_why_* should prisoners be denied the vote. I mean, is voting such an extravagant luxury ? Or is there more to it than that ? ...Right... ...Thought so... >

    • He doesn't seem to be aware of the fact that most democracies do in fact allow inmates to vote (including the US's northern neighbour, Canada, where there is no qualification to the right to vote). I'm not American so it's not my place to say whether the US should do this or not, but his reaction, acting like it's some kind of insane idea to allow inmates to vote, just shows tunnel vision and ignorance of the larger world. Ignorance that then allows cynically motivated political actors to disenfranchise entire groups without any significant push-back.

  • Things were progressing badly enough before--but what do you think will happen now that employers see many employees can work from home? How long before they figure out someone can do your job by working from their home in some foreign country for a lot less money than they pay you? And if you think your employer is too nice to do that to you, your employer will have no choice once just one of their competitors do it. Then your employer will also have to send your white-collar job overseas to be price competitive and stay in business. It's time you woke up. In the dog-eat-dog, winner-take-all brand of capitalism that is practiced in America since Reagan, not only is no one's job safe any longer, no one's entire career is safe. And if you think it can't happen to your paycheck, you're dreaming. If you think you're too skilled to be replaced, you're dreaming. I'm sure many 19th century weavers thought their cloth was superior to machine-made cloth--and they may have been correct. But that did not save their careers because machine-made cloth was just too cheap to resist. Medallion cab owners never saw Uber coming. Cab owners probably expected their jobs were safe until a humanoid robot was invented to drive cabs. The next technological device might destroy your business or career, too. No one is safe. Remember that when you vote.

Thought that was pretty accurate. Max & Caitlin are genuine IMO they seem to have a real interest in bridge a building One of the reasons the Dems are suffering is because they have become the party of the elites & as a result the working class has been pushed over to the Right. Most people on the Left don’t know how or really seem to want to try to talk to the Right & people on the Right are leery from being called Nazi’s & racists for the last 4 years

He says everything about how persuasive it is to "govern well" and nothing about how the empirically worst governing ever is still quite popular with half of American voters.

Tell them sit back because we sure do have all the answers for you...claim the fact that Republicans' get senators from the Dakotas as a legitimate cause to sway the courts for your own selfish, political causes that most of the country doesn't care about...and then say this is how we get these votes back. Unity! Half of the country voted for Trump because of people like you. Trump may be a joke, but look in the mirror. It's also true that while we waited for the populace to be won over by our generosity, we sent out assassins to eliminate the threat to the public at large. So where are our assassin-defenders when we need them? I mean, when are the supposed good law enforcers going to start ridding us of violent criminals just because they're bad, instead of indiscriminately shooting people they decide must be bad in advance, simply because they've got darker skin than the cop?

There were certainly a high number of nazis hiding-out, taking new identities or trying to make it to spain or southamerica. But a large group of fighters assaulting allied troups or facilities simply DID NOT EXIST. Is just part of many legends that are still around and that.take un-informed people for granted. • Ridiculous. If Reagan was able to recruit then we know it's not just about working class issues. White working class people voted for Reagan to regain the honor of American through military might. Carter was great with a good long-term plan but America wanted a president who appeared like a cowboy. He allowed Wall Street to rob them blind. He began the descent into the destruction of the middle class. Moved them all to live off credit and refinancing. Reagan blinded them with racism to vote against their economic interest. White working America must be pulled out of their racism.

  • The deck is so stacked against Dems because nearly every Southern state has two safe Republican senate seats, plus N. Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana, Idaho, Utah, Kansas, Nebraska, and all of these states doubly outsized political power by their power in the Senate and in presidential elections. It seems like we are going to see a lot more elections where the electoral winner is miles ahead of the Democrat, who will win the majority vote. What motivation do Republicans have to agree to change the system? People like toothless Mitch will hold on to their unjust power and shove policies down the throat of many non conservative voters who will have little say in changing the system. My assumption going forward is every time a justice dies when a Democrat is in the Oval Office the Republican led Senate will bide their time until a new red administration comes and then nominate their 1955 values voter. What's keeping super wealthy people who happen to be liberal in this country? Why would you want to continue to fund this shitshow? I love America. I love the Broncos and I love music. I love the America we used to be and I love the Broncos as they used to be and I love music as it used to be. The present gives me no thrill. Plus, I'm in an aging body with a mind who believes it should still be the young and fit person I was once upon a time. I guess I'm just disgruntled in many ways.
